Good heavy, gloomy and dark album, more heavy as power, more power as progressive , band has own way play good music, maybe not their best , but deaccent.

Not a bad album, but I'm not keen on the way this is produced, way too much emphasis has gone on the vocals, however, the vocal performance ain't that bad, but the lyrics are pretty dreadful at times, which is not usually something that bothers me too much with power metal, but on this occasion it did.
The songwriting too isn't that great imo, I find it very generic even by power metal standards, although the heaviness and overall guitar sound is fine with me, it's a shame you don't get to hear that much of it.

The main stand outs for me are the songs "Phantasm" and "A Trail Of Sins", particularly because of their main riffs, nothing else really did much for me unfortunately

Good album, quite enjoyable and better than their last couple of albums.
I'd rate this 7.5 but I can't round it to an 8.

The best one so far with Hemlin on vocals. There are some cool power metal songs as Phantasm and This Perfect Storm but overall it's not really a fun record to listen to.
