Easy listening

^^ not bad, i didn't know Simone Mularoni left the band. I might give the album a listen, these guys are pretty good.

It's simple, catchy and quite fun to listen too, but the songwriting and melodies are very generic, and it lacks originality. The vocals sound pretty much like standard power metal vocals to me, it's not that his a bad vocalist, it's just his style is a little too flowery for me.

Expecting originality from an AOR band is a tad bit silly. With this kind of music, one want a soaring competent vocalist, some guitar & synth hooks and a pumping rhythm and a solid lead guitar, maybe someone who can shred a bit.
Also originality is not the main condition to enjoy music. God knows I've heard original things I found awful.

I suppose I was a fool for expecting anything different than I initially thought. I think the vocalist did a good job overall, and the synths and guitarwork were ok. Unfortunately this just wasn't my cup of tea this time.

I haven't listened to the whole album yet, but I plan to. Sunstorm is one of the few good melodic hard rock bands in recent years.
I'll post some more once i have listened to the whole album.

I've listened to bits from their previous albums, they sound alright, so I'm hoping eventually I will listen to more of their previous albums in full.

Good pop and heavy adult orisntaded music, whit good vocalist. I'm 80s this was female radio friendly. His voice flows, makes album sound faster, heavyer and younger. I am ok whit this.
