What's in a dream? Beyond the physical plane, could it be a world to escape our own time-construct to explore other dimensions? Or is it just our garden, the cradle of our souls? Hanging Garden's The Garden is here to help our journey towards an elusive truth.

I usually like melacholic stuff but this was pretty boring for me. Vocals are somehow dreary. It got a bit better in the end but it didn't save much.

People who only listen DT or progressive ( boring) metal shouldn't vote this kind of masterpeiece of emotions. The album is amazing with different twists and directions. All of them have a purpose . Touch the beauty , melancholy and hope in our hearts. But if you are a millennial without that capacity. Make a big favour to yourself! Do not listen this boring masterpeice 🤔

I really like this album. It reminds me of Swallow The Sun mixed with Amorphis.

A Nice Guy
I'm certainly getting Amorphis vibes instrumentally, it's a unique sound they have here, some beautiful melodies and very pleasant on the ears, it's not particularly heavy but has a certain tranquility about it, and I quite like the various vocal styles, the growls that come in on the heavier sections, and the clean during the lighter sections, and they all work wonders imo.

Not a single track here I dislike, which is grest considering their are 11 tracks, I expected to maybe dislike a few, but no. "The Journey" has to be my overall favorite though.

Love how this band releases a new album steadily every two years for a decade now without dropping the quality of their music.
They are so underrated.

Bad English
Tage Westerlund
Good balance between harsher death doom and calmer gothic doom and vell balance mix between male snd female vocals, and seems this band from melanholic doom what put out album like recently do vins when it's about female vocals.
I stand whit Ukraine and Israel. They have right to defend own citizens.

Better and better and better. These guys are nearing perfection album after album. When i started The Garden I thought wtf? Why so much rating?...The four winds...ooh....another level.
In the beginning I was made of clay. Then I bit the apple and they changed me to metal 🤘

Keep of Kalessin, Ne Obliviscaris and this. March had some absolutely stunning albums releases. This is such a bewitching album. The Journey especially has stuck with me. Will make my top songs of 2023 list for sure.

I like the album but felt the band didn't want to take any risks. An okayish album for me. Love the track nightfall but other than that none of the songs stuck.
Leeches everywhere.

Ok, so this was a rather disappointing listen considering my higher expectations due to it's rating (7.8 stars). It reminds of Insomnium and maybe a bit of Marianas Rest albeit a considerably less good version of those 2 greats of Finnish 'dark-depressing' metal. It's not original at all and it's not very good at emulating already used up formula. Barely 7 out 10. I doubt I will buy this even though I collect a lot of CD's.

Best of the year for me. This album has all that I love and value in music: beautiful melodies, deep atmosphere, strong emotions. I'm so happy for this band. They worked so hard and so long to achieve this. And also I'm happy that this type music did not die in 90s. It should live.
