Apparently, this band and their Imagine Dragons-influenced pop rock with occasional djent riffs and autotune-drenched vocals sells out shows like you couldn't believe. But I guess I'm just not enough of an NPC to understand why. If you wear masks, people will think you're artistic even if your output is generic crap.

What do you mean? These guys have some very catchy tunes. That fact alone is enough for the hype. It remains to be seen how well they hold up through the passing of time.

So you feel elitist, that people who like music like this are NPCs and beneath you. This makes your opinion totally invalid to me. You can dislike a band or music genre, but looking down on people for liking it is just sad.

You simply can't rate an album with 1 out of 10 with drummer this good...

Holy crap, the song Fall for me literally make me shit my pants in disbelieve and disgust. That way of auto-tuning should be illegal.
So, I like the opener, it's pretty beautiful, but other than that, this is so generic and boring I'm almost clawing my eyes out. To be fair, I probably would have loved it when I was 12 and hadn't heard all the music I've had the fortune to listen to now. I guess that's what maturity does to you.

It's obvious that they know how to play and write songs, and the singer has talent. Too bad it's just the most uninspiring thing this side of 2000. OK, that's an overstatement, I know. But it's how I felt listening to it.
