Much better than the last album. More proggy approach and interesting songwriting here. "Dark Divide" will be a killer song to play live.

High praise, I haven’t listened to them in a long time but I’m definitely gonna check this out

Bit of a lame attempt to catch onto the new atmospheric-core trend (especially tracks 2 and 5). The multilayered vocals, constant blastbeat drums etc. The other songs have pretty standard ABR song structures. Still, it does not even come close to touching the compositions and melody of Constellations or Leveler.

Music is pretty good at times but I don't like the vocals. Got exhausted pretty quickly.

Sadly there's nothing I find interesting about this release, it just seems like an overwhelming technical mess to me. The riffs aren't that interesting, the tempo and structure seems to be all over the place, the vocals are pretty bad, and the length certainly doesn't help either.

There are some great moments and a few standout tracks, but overall I really miss the soaring and emotional melodies of Leveler and Rescue and Restore. It's also too long for my liking.

I'm a fan, seen these guys in concert several times. This was an okay album but totally understand the negative critiques.
