This is maybe a bit better than the last album, but I suspect this band used up the lion's share of their good hooks on the debut - I guess at least I got 1 full album on songs I like from them rather than 2 sole songs from Currents, but I find it weird that they both can remain broadly in the same style but become so much less appealing so quickly. It genuinely gets more grating the longer it goes on

It's a very weak and uninspiring effort imo, the songwriting is very bland even by metalcore standards, and the vocals are borderline annoying.
