Such a wonderfully constructed album with great performances and great songwriting.

The ever-present ambient synth works really well for the album's atmosphere, I also enjoy the crunchy guitar riffs in calmer parts, and the slow builds into technicality ("Maelstrom"). Drawback is the vocals which feel a little odd for some reason, I believe it is just the singers tone, but possibly also his overuse of glissando. The album starts very strong but about halfway through goes to acceptable quality. Overall a nice listen, flows well, and has a nice calming atmosphere.
