Ektomorf has an impressive amount of albums under its belt. I wasn't aware of this band's existence though. My bad. Cover artwork of "Vivid Black" looked cool so I decided to give it a chance. While listening to "Vivid Black" I felt like I was hearing something familiar but I didn't know what was it. After a couple of songs I realized Ektomorf is a Hungarian version of Slipknot. It's aggressive, in your face modern/nu metal with Corey Taylor sound alike on vocals. 😀 it's not as good as Slipknot due to average choruses but it's a solid effort nevertheless! 7.5/10
