Really good album with great vocals and guitar work. The only drawbacks are the lack of catchy choruses and melodies that NR would be famous for later and the album sounds like some late 80's and early 90's power metal album and not from 1997. For example Visions by Stratovarius or Divine Wings Of Tragedy by SX were released in 1997 but sound way more modern than this one.

As "mountain king" stated it may sound outdated for its time, but thats also what makes it stand out from the other bands, and it still has a bit of the death metal left over in it.
A really excelent album - i just fucking love it!
