Cruachan is today probably one of the most well-known representatives of Ireland's metal scene. Formed of the members of the disbanded Minas Tirith in 1992, Cruachan released their first album "Tuatha Na Gael" in 1995. With this album they began to develop the style of Celtic folk metal that they have been using until today.

Good album, and one that gives a nice start to Cruachan's career. Folk instrumentation here works very well alongside the guitar work and BM influences, although the production is muddy so that it's somewhat harder to try and listen to the songs themselves. Songs such as the mellow 'Brian Boru' and ambitious 'Cúchulainn' show how good Cruachan's song-writing is.

Bad English
Tage Westerlund
Great album, but you need to love celtic, gealic, culture., folklore. I have been in love whit it since teenage days so , thjs is perfect to me. Germanic, Celtic works in such music, somehow oriental don't, Orphened Land don't work to me and similar bands, this simply kicks ass
