By this point in time, the idea of adding keyboards and synths to blackened metal is one that has been thoroughly explored across multiple decades; despite this, there’s something about Maladomini’s self-described blackened synth metal that feels quite original.

I really like the interplay between synths and blackened guitar, and the craggily, harsh vocals on "911229" and at the end of "A Cog" are especially nice as well. Some parts are too avantgarde for my taste or didn't really click with me, but the tracks that I found were awesome were the two instrumental tracks and "A Cog" (with an interesting concept, pretty clever lyrics like linking "cog" and "cogito ergo sum", and just an overall chilling conclusion). Congrats, Netzach! Looking forward to more!

Thanks for checking it out, glad there was something to like on it I'm pretty far into a second album already (which will continue the storyline) and I'm afraid it might get even more avant garde from here but we'll see

I'm glad you noticed the lyrics and concept, in fact that song is just the conclusion - or cliffhanger - to the album's story.

No, merely pressured into it using guilt as a weapon

Exactly how I feel.

The instrumental tracks had me hooked. Dödsdans, in particular, is awesome.

1st track has some very strong Sigh vibes.

This album is exceptionally well-executed Avantgarde. Numerous moments surprised me, but none of those moments felt random or sounded out of place, not even a little. The tempo variations in The Observer Effect serve as an obvious example of what I mean by fitting surprises. Dödsdans is also my favorite track, but every song here is strong. The experience of listening to the entire album is a mix of appreciation for its qualities and a sense of my own creative limitations. I wouldn’t even think of trying to create something like this, but you totally succeeded @ Netzach.

Don't know what I was thinking, tbh, but that's what came out. Glad you liked it, thanks
