I find this album almost awful. nothing great on it. now that i am also listening to Myrkskog they were much better....

Clearly one of the most ambitious super-group debuts ever. Fast, aggressive, unrelenting, technical, and at times even atmospheric. One of the few bands that gave blackened death metal a good name... before that name died again.

Tried checking it out, but the production prevents me from enjoying some of the good moments that it has going for it.

My biggest pet peeve is how the vocals are mixed. I don't know if they're layered in a particular way, or if it's a stereo chorus, or whatever it is. I just don't like this kind of sound when it's constant. Sparsely used I can dig it.
