Excellent album, and one that cemented the band's legacy as one of the most promising British DM bands.

One of the classic DM elements. Had a great mix of some grind and doom elements in a few songs. Some notes were played throughout the songs the same time, but enough variety for each to be crushingly different. Karls Growls were one of his best too.

Very overlooked death metal masterpiece.
Next to ...for Victory, the band's best.
Back in those days, when we used to listen to Warmaster, man, this was really THE new path of DM for us. It was so fast, and so powerful, blew our minds.
Highlights: I like all the first four songs very, and equally, much. Second half of this album a bit weaker for me.

This is yet another great Bolt Thrower album, and one that is often overlooked. It has that perfect blend of the dense guitar sound and brutality of Realm Of Chaos, but lots more melodic riffs like on the albums that followed.

This is proberbly my 4th favourite Bolt Thrower album, behind For Victory, Crusade and Those Once Loyal, and there is not much between this and the IVth Crusade almost equally as good IMO.

What Dwells within and Cenotaph are my favourites songs off this album.

Really in some moments it's so good that you think that lol.... and in my order For Victory, TOL, it's swings between the third and fourth position with the IVth Crusade !!

I could never get into Bolt Thrower. I always felt like every album was just plodding along. Been awhile since I’ve listened to this so maybe it’s time for another spin.

There is something whit Old school death metal bands from time when for us was old school , for them real life. Good drumming, good old school DM album, I grew up whit similar studio mix n master music.

I stand whit Ukraine and Israel. They have right to defend own citizens.

Good album, still reel past behind BT's best work - Victory, Those Once Loyal and IVth Crusade.
