I suppose this is what you call "humble beginnings". This album still has some great moments however, which are more often than note found in the most experimental songs such as "Pure as the Arctic Snow" (Kind of power metal inspired) and "Je M'Appelle J. Cousteau", which has a weird tribal drum beat throughout. Elsewhere, it's fair-to-middling hardcore punk, which never gets that interesting but is as decent as a fans of the sub-genre would expect.
