Enslaved and Virus for sure, my only obstacle is the coarse vocals, hopefully I grow accustomed to them as the music is brilliant!

I've been meaning to listen to this ever since I saw JOOE's staff pick. Finally got around to it and it did not disappoint. I was pulled in from the first note until the last. Fantastic album. More spins to come.

As the movie buff that I am, I'm wondering if the name Castevet has something to do with Polanski's Rosemary's Baby. It's the name of "bad guy".

Definitely an album I wish more people would check out. Seems like it could be more popular if more knew it existed.

I'm surprised it has fewer than 30 votes here to be honest, upon its release it had been reviewed by Pitchfork and virtually every metal webzine and most of the reviews were extremely positive. I do think with more exposure to the right crowd that the overall rating would be a lot higher, but the black metal-hardcore hybrid isn't exactly the most accessible genre around.

Right, and that's how I heard about it. So I was kind of surprised more people didn't. Then again, I'm one of those obsessives that scours every best of the year list I can find in hopes to discover stuff I haven't heard yet.

I'm upset that I just discovered this album. Too bad there wont be more... This is excellent.
