Nice mixture of 2nd wave, unproduced BM-sounding vocals with lovely string melodies. Juxtapositions the ugly and the beautiful. Not only that, but the approach is almost "fuck we need a guitar for?" and lets the strings carry that load about 90%. Makes me wish someone would be ballsy enough to try this without any guitar at all. I could do without the spoken proclamation sections. They come off as awkward. Enjoyabilty=8 Musicianship=7 Innovation=8

This is quite nice. I tend to overlook doom metal because they all sound a bit samey but this is fresh stuff
