Awesome album. Blackened sludge with quite a bit of low-end and vile vocals.

Thanks for telling us about an album that hasn't been released or leaked yet, and once again implicitly reminding people about the fact that you receive promos. I'll be sure to pay full price for this one on their bandcamp, and I'll be sure to tell them that you sent me!

It's been a while since I've bothered with you, so I'll just say this and be done for the next few months again: I made no mention of any of the things you just stated in this post. I simply enjoyed hearing this one enough to want to hype it for others to put on their radar.

Not as "heavy" as the debut, but much better and more refined sound. The vocalist here sounds more like Charlie Fell than Charlie Fell does on the recent Cobalt song =[ Bludgeoningly good record.

Sounds like I'll probably like it more than the debut in that case. My biggest issue with that album was how it felt like heaviness for heaviness' sake

Exactly my issue with it. This one sort of feels like Guitless era Indian, or something. I liked it quite a bit, and recently I've been thinking how "over" ultra-heavy sludge albums I am, as there's one round every corner. This one sort of rekindled my interest a little, even if it's not original at all.

I am unconventional sludge listener, and like sludge when it is either ultra heavy, ultra filthy, droney and a combination of those. So, LSM's debut was really great for me. Beside its heaviness, I loved how it sounded like meshuggah playing slow music. Almost djentened sludge I would say.

Ahhh ok haha, I thought I was going crazy for a second hearing a lot of Indian in this album, seems I'm not the only one
But yeah, the similarity is there for sure, and it's definitely a good thing in my book

Not entirely sure about it - on the one hand I really like the overall sound of it; tasty as fuck atmosphere to it. On the other hand, there's a fair few times when for me it comes across as slightly basic and pedestrian songwriting. I feel like the riffs don't develop as much as they really could and it feels like it's limiting itself compositionally. I like it, it just feels like it could be a bit more than it is

Yeah this is a definitely a very basically written album. Weirdly though I quite like that. Very meandering, in a good way.
