Sounds decent.

I really liked it. A welcome return to their roots but at the same time their sound is evolved without loosing their identity. I enjoyed "Nightside Emanations", but "The Poisonous Path" is definitely their best since "By the Blessing of Satan". A great album by a great band

This is definitely among the better black metal albums I've heard so far in 2016. Excellent sound, and some outstanding guitar work. It's not that versatile, but it sure does deliver the goods like few others.

Very strong album, you will not be disappointed if your a fan of this band. On first impressions in my opinion its surpassed "Nightside Emanations" & could maybe overthrow "By The Blessing Of Satan" with more listens, seriously good album of pure hard driven unrelentless brutality! The guitar sound & drums is very good too on this album & adds to the overall atmosphere the band sound creates! The songs themselves are strong & nicely crafted together & do not lose their interest during the entire 56 minutes.
A definite contender for top 10 extreme releases of this year!
