New Rosetta In August and now this. Huge albums. I cannot wait...

A typical Amenra, which means it's been a highly enjoyable experience for me The cleans are truly beautiful this time around and reminds me quiet a bit of Sigur Rós (huh?). I'm not a huge fan of the spoken word interlude ("Edelkroone") though. And "A Solitary Reign" is definitely the highlight imo. It mixes harsh and clean vocals in an extraordinary manner.. Strong 8/10.

Cult Of Luna
Rosetta
Isis (still)
Neurosis
the 5th? Dirge, Year Of No Light, Amenra, The Ocean, Mouth Of The Architect, Pelican, Callisto ? Tough one to pick.

Year Of No Light is awesome. Fantastic fucking band. I think Cult Of Luna is my favorite out of that list as well. I would also add Blindead, although after Patrick left they aren't as good.

Other versions (or at least other promotional material) have other dead animals (I saw a rat and a crow).
Dunno, probably symbolizes death or something. CHVE said before how most men in his family died before they were 40 and he's getting close. I hear it's also supposed to be more sorrowful than before. So the times of obsessions (that's what the teeth symbolize, biting and not letting go) seem to have ended and mourning starts.
But I'm probably wrong about most of this.
