Adam Jonathan Dutkiewicz (often abbrieviated to Adam D, born April 4, 1977) is best known as one of the guitarists (along with Joel Stroetzel) and backup vocalist from Massachusetts metalcore bands Killswitch Engage and Aftershock.

Dutkiewicz attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied production, engineering, and bass guitar. While at college, he began playing in the band Aftershock with friend Joel Stroetzel. Stroetzel would later join Dutkiewicz, Mike D'Antonio, and Jesse Leach in forming Killswitch Engage. Dutkiewicz was the drummer of Killswitch Engage, until the release of its second album, Alive or Just Breathing, when he moved to guitars, and Tom Gomes became the band's drummer. In an interview, Adam stated that an interesting fact about him is that he has diarrhea almost everyday. He is also Polish. Adam's favorite band now and when he was a kid is Journey. Adam also speaks Japanese.

He has assumed the role of producer on all of Killswitch Engage's records. He has also produced for the bands As I Lay Dying, Underøath, The Acacia Strain, Unearth, All That Remains, From Autumn to Ashes, Johnny Truant, Parkway Drive, The Agony Scene, Every Time I Die and others. He has been compared to Ross Robinson, producer of many Nu Metal albums, because of his influence on modern metal and shaping the sound of Metalcore. He is also an engineer for Zing Studios, which has produced for numerous artists, including several from Tooth & Nail and Solid State Records.

He is also responsible for most of the band's postponed tour dates due to damaging his back, which he puts down to "bending so far over so he can fit into photos with fans". A recent global poll suggests the injury stems from the sale of Adam's soul to the devil in exchange for greater album sales. He's also opted everybody to send in packs of beef jerky to help him regain his strength while he's recovering.

Adam has a side project called Burn Your Wishes, with Ken Susi of Unearth.
