Bane is a Black/Death metal band originally founded in Serbia (Europe), in the year of 2006. With two full-length albums, three splits, one EP, one demo and and single behind them, Bane were recognized as being one of the most active bands coming from the Balkans before relocating to Montreal, Quebec (Canada) in 2012.

Bane has shared stages with many established international acts such as Sodom, Malevolent Creation, Insomnium, Decapitated, Brujeria, Inquisition, Wolfheart, Horna, Uada, Svart Crown, Oceans Of Slumber, Root, Bloodshot Dawn, The Absence, Noctem, Attic, Borgne, Gutalax, Dornenreich, Agrypnie, Cor Scorpii, and many others.

With several tours under their belts as well as countless concerts and festival performances in the USA, Canada, Germany, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Bosnia & Hercegovina - Bane continues to push the limits of their unique blend of Blackened Death metal to the world of the underground.

Throughout the years, Bane has generated well over a quarter million views on YouTube and have sold thousands of CD's, vinyls and tapes worldwide. Bane have been published in several influential magazines such as Metal Hammer, Terrorizer, Zero Tolerance, Metal Injection, No Clean Singing and Decibel Magazine, while having accumulated hundreds of press articles from album reviews and live show critiques.

Bane's third full-length album Esoteric Formulae features guest appearances by Giulio Moschini (Hour Of Penance), Amduscias (Temple Of Baal) and Honza Kapak (Master's Hammer).
