In a recent interview with the Phoenix New Times, US metalcore act As I Lay Dying declared the intention to enter the studio next springtime and start a new tour after finishing recording the new album. "We are heading in to the studio around springtime and plan to start the touring once we've finished the record", answered Jordan Mancino. To read the full interview go to this location.

The clip, which can be viewed at this location, was filmed with director Paul R. Brown at El Mirage Lake, a dry lake bed in the Mojave Desert of San Bernardino County, California.

As I Lay Dying will hit the ground running in 2011 with a full US tour. The dates start on February 12th at the Aggie Theater in Ft. Collins, CO and wrap up March 18th in Sacramento, CA. "Songwriting has been going well with about 6-7 songs done. We decided to officially start recording the new As I Lay Dying album on October 17. At that point we'll record as many songs as we can and then finish the album around the new year. I think this will be a good way to spread out our songwriting since most of our previous records have always been written within a few months."

San Diego based Grammy-Nominated metalers As I Lay Dying have appeared on Taste Of Chaos, Ozzfest, headlined the 2006 Sounds Of The Underground Tour, Cornerstone, Bamboozle 2006 and just about every significant hard music festival around the globe. With "This Is Who We Are", As I Lay Dying steps into new territory by releasing their first ever DVD consisting of a 3 DVD set produced and directed by Denise Korycki (Cannibal Corpse "Centuries of Torment" DVD) that provides viewers with live performances and a complete As I Lay Dying audio/visual history.

Vocalist Tim Lambesis adds: "It's hard to believe that we've been a band for as long as we have yet have never released an official DVD documenting our first 7 years. As a result, we've included so much content that you hardly have to like our music to be entertained. With that said, it feels good knowing how many diehard fans over the years have supported our band and their simple enjoyment of our music has given us the chance to see the world!"

Disc #1 - Main Documentary - approx. two hours
This complete band history includes in depth artist interviews and commentary, interviews with friends and family, as well as observations and road stories from colleagues and bands that have worked with and befriended As I Lay Dying since the band's inception.
