Cobalt had to unfortunately cancel their summer US tour due to vocalist Charlie Fell's foot injury but will hopefully re-schedule the tour sometime in the near impending future. The highly anticipated new album from black metallers Cobalt is coming out this March via Profound Lore Records and the first details have just been revealed. For now, we already know that the new album will be titled Slow Forever and it's a double album with vocals from Charlie Fell (ex-Lord Mantis, Nachtmystium, Abigail Williams). After 6 years without new releases, extreme metal band Cobalt is working on the follow up to 2009's Gin. Primary composer and instrumentalist Erik Wunder has stated that the material is written and you can expect 9 songs on the upcoming LP. In this new update, it is revealed that Cobalt is booked to enter the studio with long-time collaborator, Dave Otero at Flatline Audio in June. Wunder has also confirmed that vocalist Phil McSorley will not be featured on the album that will be called Slow Forever, by the way.
