Cobalt - Release Live Video Clip
Cobalt had to unfortunately cancel their summer US tour due to vocalist Charlie Fell's foot injury but will hopefully re-schedule the tour sometime in the near impending future. However, you can check out this live pro-shot video clip of the black metallers performing the track "Slow Forever" from the May 12th show in Krakow, Poland. It was shot and edited by Woda i Pustka. Cobalt - Reveal New Album Cover And First Details
The highly anticipated new album from black metallers Cobalt is coming out this March via Profound Lore Records and the first details have just been revealed. For now, we already know that the new album will be titled Slow Forever and it's a double album with vocals from Charlie Fell (ex-Lord Mantis, Nachtmystium, Abigail Williams). The cover art, done by Jimmy Hubbard, is a combination of photography, sketches, ink blots, and a little bit of digital manipulation. Feast your eyes on it below.

Cobalt - New Album Update
After 6 years without new releases, extreme metal band Cobalt is working on the follow up to 2009's Gin. Primary composer and instrumentalist Erik Wunder has stated that the material is written and you can expect 9 songs on the upcoming LP. In this new update, it is revealed that Cobalt is booked to enter the studio with long-time collaborator, Dave Otero at Flatline Audio in June. Wunder has also confirmed that vocalist Phil McSorley will not be featured on the album that will be called Slow Forever, by the way.

The American duo is now reduced to Erik Wunder because Phil McSorley has announced his departure. McSorley also says that Erik will have his blessing if he decides to continue making music under the Cobalt moniker, but so far, that hasn't been confirmed.
