Dark Angel - To Enter Studio Before End Of 2022

In his latest Twitch stream, drummer Gene Hoglan confirmed that - following his second departure from Testament nearly two weeks ago - he has redirected his focus to Dark Angel, where he is currently writing new material for the band's first studio album since 1991's Time Does Not Heal, and also revealed that the band is planning to hit the studio before the end of the year. A tentative release in 2023 is expected for the new record.

Alice Cooper - Working On Two Studio Albums

In last Thursday's (January 27th) episode of SiriusXM's 'Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk', legendary rocker Alice Cooper revealed that he has been working on two "different kinds" of hard rock albums that will be helmed by his longtime producer Bob Ezrin, who is most famous for producing many of his classic albums. Cooper says the first of these two albums is expected to be released later this year.

Die Apokalyptischen Reiter - New Studio Album On The Way

Heavy metal unity Die Apokalyptischen Reiter are getting ready to release Wilde Kinde, their next full length album due out on April 22, 2022. The official successor to Der Rote Reiter (2017) was recorded and mixed at Chameleon Studios in Hamburg. Mixing and mastering was handled by by Eike Freese. In addition to this announcement, the band have also released a music video for the title track of the album. Video directed by Dariusz Szermanowicz (Grupa13).

Incite - To Release Sixth Studio Record In March

Groove thrash metallers Incite recently announced that their sixth studio album, Wake Up Dead, will be released on March 25th 2022. The follow-up to 2019's Built To Destroy was recorded at Omen Room Studios in Los Angeles with producer Steve Evetts, and one of the album's tracks, "War Soup" features a guest appearance from Max Cavalera (Soulfly, ex-Sepultura), who is the stepfather of Incite vocalist Richie Cavalera.
