Five Finger Death Punch - New Song Online
"Under It And Over It", a brand-new track from US groove metallers Five Finger Death Punch has been made available for streaming over at Revolver Magazine.
Commented FFDP vocalist Ivan Moody: "This one is about the rumors and gossip that go on everywhere - especially online. It's comical to see how much crazy, ill-informed shit people will post as news and when they're trolling around message boards. In today's day and age, speculation and bad info can just fly around the internet and catch fire - even when it's completely false and unfounded. Funny shit."
"Under It And Over It" comes off the band's upcoming new album, entitled American Capitalist, which will be released on October 11th through Prospect Park Records.

Confessor - Confirm Appearance At Maryland Deathfest
After years of silence US doomsters Confessor have confirmed to play live at next year's Maryland Deathfest. The band will also release a demo collection/archival DVD, entitled Uncontrolled.
The band issued the following statement: "Confessor is excited to announce that the band is back in action and we have been confirmed for the 2012 Maryland Deathfest next year. Rehearsals have already started and we hope to play a warm-up show in Raleigh prior to the MDF appearance. We still have some limitations with Scott living and working in China but it looks like he will be able to spend some more time in the States next year.
The current project Far and Away featuring Steve Shelton, Chris Nolan, and Brian Shoaf from Confessor will continue to write and record and Cary continues playing with Parasite Drag.
Besides the appearance at MDF the band, in conjuction with reissue specialists Divebomb Records, are putting together a demo-collection-and-archival-DVD set entitled Uncontrolled. This will be the first time that all three legendary Confessor demos are made available commercially. The DVD will contain archival footage collected by the band with additional material supplied by die-hard fans.
In additional to audio and video content, Jeff Wagner (author of Mean Deviation: Four Decades of Progressive Heavy Metal) has contributed a brand new essay to go along with pictures the band has unearthed for the deluxe booklet. Release date for the set is undetermined at the moment, but Divebomb Records hopes to have it available by year's end."
The tenth edition of the Maryland Deathfest will take place May 24-27th at Sonar in Baltimore, MD. The bill so far includes names such as Morbid Angel, Electric Wizard, Saint Vitus, Morgoth, Suffocation, Negură Bunget and Bethlehem, among others. Go here for an overview of all confirmed acts so far.
