8 years after the release of their latest record Better Days Comin, American rockers Winger have announced on social media that their seventh studio album is currently being mixed for a 2023 release (exact date TBA). Earlier Kip Winger shared a photo and video of him and a mixing engineer in the studio, and he included the following message: "Mixing #WingerVII!"

Entitled The Garden, it was recorded by a seven-piece amplified by female vocals, navigating its way through a dark setting of melodic, gothic, doom and death metal, will see its release on March 24th. The band's 10th full-length, War Against All, features 8 new Immortal tracks and is scheduled for release in 2023 through Nuclear Blast Records. The effort was produced by Arve Isdal and recorded at Conclave & Earshot Studio by Herbrand Larsen and Arve Isdal while Iver Sandøy at Solslottet handled the mastering.
