Following the success of two highly-praised albums on Kscope, Belighted and Lighthouse, Russian prog duo Gleb Kolyadin and Marjana Semkina are releasing a new studio film, Ocean Sounds, shot at and named after a remote recording studio on Giske, a Norwegian island. The footage offers a behind-the-scenes insight into their recording techniques. The content captures Iamthemorning's live set-up from the last three years, with the setlist consisting of songs from their first three studio albums and an unplugged recording of "Blue Sea", the first track to be written for their upcoming fourth album and exclusive to this Blu-ray disc.

Japanese post-rock masters Mono will enter the studio to record their new full-length release this July with Steve Albini (Zao, KEN Mode) helming the production. The band plans for a January release, with a first single due out in September. Additionally, Mono confirmed a string of dates for the 'Blue Blood Moon European Tour', scheduled for this coming fall. Rotting Christ have just revealed very exciting news! The Greek black metal veterans, who were arrested in Georgia last month on grounds involving charges of terrorism based on the band's name and later released, have entered the studio for the recording of their brand new album, which will be released in early 2019 via Season of Mist. The album will be produced by vocalist/guitarist Sakis Tolis himself, and Jens Bogren will again take on the job of mixing and mastering.

Doomsters Castle have some good news to share with their fans because the band has two tours coming up (in the U.S. and Europe) as well a new album. The band will hit the studio in May with Billy Anderson (Sleep, Neurosis, Eyehategod) at the helm to track the new album in Portland, Oregon.
