Obituary - Ex-Bassist Passed Away
Frank Watkins is best known for handling the bass in Obituary from 1989 to 2010. Both Obituary and Frank's 'current' band Gorgoroth are mourning the death of their bass player. Gorgoroth lost their bassist Bøddel at the age of 47. While they didn't say anything about the circumstances of his death, Frank was battling cancer and will be missed; condolences to his friends and family.

Obituary - Mixing New Album, Partner With Relapse Records
Obituary have partnered up with Relapse Records to release the band's new album. The death metallers have completed recording their 9th studio album and first full-length in over five years that will follow Darkest Day. Self-recorded this April by the band at their own RedNeck Studio in Gibsonton, Florida, the group is currently wrapping up the final mixes. The album recording was funded by an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign in late 2013. More details about the album are expected very soon.
