Obscura - Complete New Album, Reveal Album Title

Technical death metal masters Obscura have completed their fifth full-length album and announced that it will be entitled Diluvium. Diluvium was recorded with longtime producer V. Santura (Triptykon, Pestilence) at Woodshed Studios in Landshut, Germany and the album is set for a summer 2018 release via Relapse Records.

Sepultura - Announce European Tour With Obscura, Goatwhore

Heavy tour alert! In early 2018, Brazilian thrash metal legends Sepultura will head out on a lengthy and extensive European headline tour in support of their acclaimed new album, Machine Messiah. After an extremely successful tour with Kreator and a raft of festival shows in 2017, Sepultura will return to Europe with their most powerful billing yet. German technical death metal masters Obscura are confirmed as direct support, followed by US-based death/black metallers Goatwhore and New Jersey's deathcore outfit, Fit For An Autopsy.

Obscura - Start New Album Recordings

Their highly-anticipated fourth full-length album is to be called Akroasis and is due out on February 5th, 2016 via Relapse Records. The aptly-named 'Akroasis' (Greek for "hearing" or "listening") draws on all the various elements of Obscura's signature sound and combines those qualities into a mind-blowing and cohesive whole.
