Rammstein - Releasing 'In Amerika' DVD, Share Clip

Rammstein have announced a new release. The industrial metallers will issue In Amerika worldwide on September 25th on DVD and Blu-Ray, and it contains three new exclusive films: concert film Live From Madison Square Garden (101 minutes) in HD and 5.1 Surround Sound, the documentary Rammstein In Amerika (122 minutes) / Director's Cut and the making-of the 2009 album Liebe Ist Für Alle Da (21 minutes). Pentagram - Confirm US Fall Tour

US doom metal legends Pentagram announced a US headlining tour, set to kick off in Philadelphia, PA on September 30th. Electric Citizen and Satan's Satyrs will join them for the nine city trek Pentagram recently reunited with Peaceville Records for a new studio album, Curious Volume, due out August 28th. Pentagram - Another New Song Streaming Online

Legendary U.S. doom metal band Pentagram will release their new studio album, Curious Volume, on August 28th via Peaceville Records. So far, the band has released the song "Misunderstood" before as a first appetizer. But now there is more to be enjoyed. Pentagram - Debut New Song 'Misunderstood'

The doom is upon us, at least Pentagram's brand of heavy doom. The band has premiered the first song from their new album Curious Volume. If you want to hear it, just click play on the SoundCloud player below. According to the band's management, "although this song sounds nothing like the rest of the album, it does fit right in, especially when you consider the lyrics. I think it reflects Bobby's life-long love of The Dead Boys and other street rock bands."

Pentagram - Announce New Album For August

U.S. doom metal band Pentagram reunites with Peaceville Records for its new studio album, Curious Volume, to be released on August 28th. Featuring 11 classic heavy metal compositions with catchy hooks from core band members Victor Griffin, Greg Turley, and Bobby Liebling (Pete Campbell on the drums completes the lineup), the album was recorded with Swedish producer Mattias Nilsson at studios located in Maryland and Virginia. Pentagram - New Album Recording Underway, New Drummer

Good news from Pentagram today. Peaceville Records just announced the re-signing of US doom metal legends Pentagram for their forthcoming studio album, set to be released in the summer of 2015. The influential American band also announced a line-up change. Sean Saley has decided to step down from the drum throne. "Minnesota" Pete Campbell will step in to complete recording and touring duties throughout 2015. Campbell is best known for his drumming with Victor Griffin's In-Graved, Place Of Skulls and stoners Sixty Watt Shaman.

Mastodon - Guitarist Brent Hinds Kicked Out Of Grammys

Mastodon was nominated for the Grammy Awards, which took place on the 8th of February, for the category of "Best Metal Performance". They didn't win anything, Tenacious D won, but they did get some attention: Brann Dailor with his very recognizable attire, and Brent Hinds for his behavior. According to Benjamin Weinman, known from being the lead guitarist in The Dillinger Escape Plan and working with Brent Hinds in Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, he reportedly got "kicked out of the awards show cause he pored his bag all over the floor and undies and money and weed spilled everywhere and he wouldn't pick it up. "Sir you have to leave." "Why" "because you don't know how to behave!"

Tenacious D - Win Grammy For Best Metal Performance

In a year with so many great metal performances, the Grammy winners for the "Best Metal Performance" are... Tenacious D. What?! Yes, indeed. They win with their version of the track "The Last In Line" which was recorded for the Ronnie James Dio - This Is Your Life tribute album. The other nominees were Anthrax, Mastodon, Motörhead and Slipknot.
