The Hourglass - To Release New Single Featuring Jon Oliva As Guest Vocalist

Syrian heavy metallers The Hourglass have announced Jon Oliva, the mastermind and the voice of the legendary US heavy metal band Savatage, as guest vocalist in the band's new single Play The Pawn. The vocalist will put his own vocal passages and piano solo in the song. The single will be released on May 2012 on Youtube.

Nile - New Album Cover Artwork Unveiled

US death metal act Nile has revealed the cover artwork of their upcoming album At The Gate Of Sethu, produced by Seth Siro Anton (Soilwork, Paradise Lost, Septicflesh), which can be seen below. The new album will be released in Europe on June 29th and in the US on July 3rd via Nuclear Blast Records.

Kataklysm - Release New Video

"Iron Will", the brand new video from Canadian death metallers Kataklysm, the title track taken from their upcoming 2CD/2DVD release The Iron Will: 20 Years Determined, is now available for viewing below. The bundle contains both a documentary movie and a filmed live recording of the entire show at last year's Summer Breeze Festival in Dinkelsbühl, Germany. Moreover, a best-of record is included, on which - apart from the best Kataklysm songs of the past 20 years - the brand new, yet unreleased song "Iron Will" can be found.

Lordi - New Drummer Joins The Band

Finnish hard-rockers Lordi have a new drummer. The band posted the following statement on their official website: "Lordi has got a new drummer. His character's name will not be revealed yet and he will be simply called 'the drummer' for now. The mask and the costume are kept to the minimum, but enough to fit him visually in to the band for the upcoming shows."
