Accept - New Video Online, Live Show With AC/DC

Accept is proud to announce the world premiere of their new music video "Teutonic Terror" from their forthcoming album Blood Of The Nations.

The video shot in March, directed by Dave Blass of Grid41.com promises to be the "Most Metal" Accept video ever. Asked about the "story, or theme" behind the video, the director said: "We had all of these cool ideas for stories about a post apocalyptic world, hot girls in Mad Max gear and cool visuals and the more we worked it the more we kept coming back to the basics... this is Accept, not Mötley Crüe, there are people all over the world that have waited years to see this band again, and every second that we cut away to some story that is really just filler anyway, we are missing what is really important. People want to see Wolf Hoffmann shredding his flying V, they want to see new singer Mark Tornillo singing a new Accept song, and they want to see the band ripping into the new track. So I said screw the story, get me some fire, get me some tanks and lets rock it."

The clip can be watched at this location. The band will release their first studio album in almost 15 years in September 2010 through Nuclear Blast.

In other news, Accept is going to hit the stage together with AC/DC at their show in Hannover on 25 May. The show will take place at the Messe Halle in Hannover, with nearly 70.000 fans.

Anthrax - Joey Belladona Back In The Band

In the latest installment of the Anthrax soap, Joey Belladona has reunited with the band. Here's the official press release:

With rumors swirling since Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante and bassist Frank Bello were seen together with former Anthrax vocalist Joey Belladonna late last month in New York, the band - Benante, Bello, and guitarists Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano - is elated to announce that Belladonna has officially rejoined the band. In his once and current capacity, Belladonna will make his first appearance with Anthrax this summer when the band joins Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth - The Big Four founding bands of the thrash genre - to co-headline a series of Sonisphere Festivals in ten European cities, as well as playing a handful of Anthrax-headlined shows.

"I am super excited about this," said Scott Ian. "Joey and the rest of the band came to see me play at a club in New York, I hadn't seen Joey for years, since the end of the reunion tour. Joey taps me on the shoulder, instant big hug, it felt like no time had gone by. The band dynamic is an interesting one - in Anthrax, Joey and I spent so many years of our lives together, we grew up together, we know each other so well, so it was like no time was lost."

Belladonna, an essential part of Anthrax's lineup from 1985 to 1992, sang on some of the band's most popular albums including Spreading the Disease, Among the Living and Persistence of Time. He had reunited with original members of Anthrax for the 2005-2007 "Among the Living Tour," but this situation is different. Explained Belladonna: "I had been in touch with Charlie and Frank, then I got a call from their manager who said that everyone wanted me back in the band. I thought, 'are you guys for real? You want me up there, fronting the band like it was before?' I was thrilled. We've already started to reconnect with the old ways of having conversations. Everything is easy going and feels really good."

"We're going to do these summer shows and gel as a band," explained Charlie Benante, "get comfortable playing with each other again, and the energy from that should go right into making new music."

Immediately following the final Sonisphere festival in early August, the band will fly back to the U.S. and begin writing and rehearsing for a new album that's expected to be out in early 2011.

"We've got an unusual luxury of hindsight," added Ian. "We finished an album a year ago, we've lived with those 12 songs since then, and we can look back on them and see what we really love and what we can make even better, especially with Joey back in the fold."

Hate - To Enter Studio Next Month

Polish Death metallers Hate have been working on their new compositions for a over 6 months now. The band will enter Hertz Studio in Bialystok, Poland just after their North American tour with Hypocrisy - on June 5 to begin recording their new album for a late 2010 release via Listenable Records. Hate have announced the title of their forthcoming material as Erebos which comes from ancient Greek and means literally "deep darkness or shadow". The new album will contain at least 9 new songs, which are said to be a fusion of blackened death metal, industrial and ambient sounds, deathcore and heavy metal.

Guitarist/vocalist Adam The First Sinner comments: "Since the premiere of Morphosis we have toured different parts of the world and faced a ton of challenges over the course of the last two years. All of the hard work that we have put in the band and everything that we have experienced is reflected in our new songs, which we know are our best yet. Erebos is going to contain extreme metal to the full with different musical styles incorporated. We explore areas that have not been associated with Hate before, and what we have created is a mixture of styles all packed in an extreme and vicious form. It is still 100 % Hate, but more elaborate, sophisticated and, in a way, redefined. We have titled the material Erebos which basicaly means darkness of human soul - and is full of analogies to condition of the human living in today's world who is a slave to his anger, weaknesses and complexes. Existing in a fictitious, virtual world, he is a slave to his dreams and does not really live but dreams that he lives."

Debauchery - Vocalist Sacked From His Job For Being In A Death Metal Band

Debauchery vocalist Thomas "The Bloodbeast" Gurrath was sacked from his position as a philosophy trainee teacher at a high school in Stuttgart in Germany due to the "violent" content of his music. Gurrath was given the choice by the educational authorities between continuing his job teaching ethics to 14-year-old students and maintaining his career as a death metal vocalist. Gurrath, however, refused to give up Debauchery, which caused him not only to lose his job at his school, but also to be banned from teaching anywhere in the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg as long as he continues to be a member of a death metal band.

The school governors were apparently not aware of his links to death metal when they hired him. However, one supervisor at the school discovered the band's website and informed the authorities. The parents and the school officials were horrified when they saw some of the band's promotional materials which feature naked women covered with blood and sado-masochistic equipment. The officials described the band's live shows as signs of "mental disability" and decided that it is not safe for children to be in the same classroom with Gurrath.

"It was very worrying to listen to his music and then realise he was teaching our children," said one parent.

Gurrath defended the content of his band's music, which includes songs with titles such as "Kill Maim Burn" and "Torture Pit", claiming that it only reflect the violence in the world around him. "I would never give up my music just because the education authorities order it," he stated firmly.

Decrepit Birth - Part Ways With Two Members

US metallers Decrepit Birth have issued the following update on their MySpace blog:

"Drummer KC Howard and guitarist Dan Eggers have both decided to part ways with the band. We want thank them very much for the hard work. KC left the band right after the recording of the new album, to pursue his career as a fulltime music teacher. KC contributed since 2004 and has been an integral part of the band over the past years. Dan who joined in 2008, decided to part ways to due to personal career choices. We wish them the best of luck and success in whatever they do.

For live shows, we will be bringing in drummers Samus Paulicelli (Ex-Abigail Williams) and Lee Smith (Estradasphere), both helping us (separately) on various future tours.

As well, guitarist Chase Fraser (Animosity, Son Of Aurelius) will bring his amazing guitar skills to the table.

This temporary reconstruction of the bands lineup has left us no choice but to cancel for the 4th annual California Metal fest. We apologize to all the fans that were looking forward to seeing Decrepit Birth at the California Metal fest this year. We will be back for the Summer Slaughter tour 2010 with a new lineup and ready to perform a new setlist featuring songs from our upcoming album Polarity which will be released on July 27 via Nuclear Blast Records."

Exussum - Signs To Dark Millennium Records

Dark Millennium Records press release

We're happy to announce that extreme metal outfit Exussum has joined forces with Dark Millennium Records.

Hailing from Colorado, Exussum is a brutal death metal outfit who's goal is creating dark, crushing death metal with an old school vibe. The Exitium Per Ignis and Seeding the Bastard Race EP's, recorded and produced by the band themselves, are both solid examples that high caliber talent doesn't strictly lie in the hands of polished, big label bands. Sharing the stage with Cephalic Carnage, All Shall Perish, Caliban, Dreaming Dead, Suffokate, among others, Exussum has been able to spread their brutality to a large audience in their 5 year existence.

Exussum is currently working on material for a full length album to be released later this year on Dark Millennium Records.

For more information on the band visit MySpace.

Amberian Dawn - Join Forces With Twisted Talent

Twisted Talent press release

Trying to find a great band which has a unique style and approach to its music is a job for a very patient and observant man - or a pearl diver. In fact, it might be as hard as finding a pearl in the River Of Tuoni.

However, we at Twisted Talent have the great luck to have a few good pearl diggers around who came up one day with a Finnish band called Amberian Dawn. Mr. Jens Johansson himself, notorious keyboarder of Stratovarius and a real expert when it comes to good music gave us an important hint. Checking them out for the first time meant listening to their debut album River Of Tuoni... struck by the impressive virtuosity of guitar & keyboard player Tuomas Seppälä, the fragile & complex melodies and the clear, mellow voice of classical soprano singer Heidi Parviainen, it got more and more obvious to us, that we had found something very special!

This impression was overwhelmingly assured after listening as well to their second album The Clouds Of Northland Thunder. Symphonic metal meets extreme technical skills, talent, poesy, a great voice and dark, mythical, beautiful stories packed in extraordinary songs.

To complete the picture with one more interesting component, Amberian Dawn have released 2 of their songs on Rockband Network so far. 5 more songs are to come very soon and it is planned to release all other songs of their current albums in the near future as well, so stay tuned! The Rockband Network page is based on the idea that bands can upload their songs in a game-compatible (we're talking about the video game Rock Band, of course!) way in order to give fans and gamers all around the world the opportunity to download the tunes and to compete with their favourite musicians - oh, by the way... Amberian Dawn's songs are classified as difficulty level "5" - the most difficult one.

After all these words, we would like to announce very proudly that we have the honour to welcome Amberian Dawn on our roster. Twisted Talent will be in charge of Amberian Dawn's booking in Europe, the world and furthermore takes over the band's management.
