The Sword - Premiere 'Daughter Of Dawn' Song
Progressive doomers The Sword are premiering "Daughter Of Dawn" from their upcoming anthology collections Chronology: 2006-2018 and Conquest Of Kingdoms. Originally only available as a bonus track on the Japanese release of Warp Riders (2010), the song serves as an epilogue to the album's sci-fi concept narrative. Chronology: 2006-2018 is a three-disc CD bundle, which - in addition to the rarities - includes the band's greatest hits and fan favorites across 52 tracks (12 previously unreleased). The set also features expansive new liner notes with contributions from the band. Both collections will be released on June 19th.

Texas stoner metal outfit The Sword has announced plans to take a break directly following their upcomign U.S. shows. As such, the band has scrapped their late October tour dates in Australia. The Sword released their latest record, Used Future, in March, 2018 through Razor & Tie.

The Sword - To Release Acoustic Album
Following 9 months of touring in support of their latest record, High Country, The Sword have returned to the studio to experiment with a stripped down acoustic presentation of the High Country songs. The result, produced by Bryan Richie and mixed by J. Robbins, is Low Country which will see a worldwide release on September 23rd. The album features cover art by Richey Beckett, available below. To support Low Country, the band will be heading out as direct support for the Opeth tour from September 29-October 26. Bracketing the Opeth tour will be 10 headline shows. The first leg, September 23-28 will feature Ruby The Hatchet as support. The second leg, October 28th through November 1st will feature C Average as support.

The Sword - Preparing To Enter The Studio
After being quiet for a while, Americans The Sword are about to enter the studio to record the follow-up to Apocryphon (2012). The stoner metallers will commence recording their fifth album, second for Razor & Tie, on March 16th in Austin, Texas.
