Evocation - Detail New Album, Debut New Song

On March 10th, death metallers Evocation will celebrate their return with the new album, The Shadow Archetype. According to their label Metal Blade Records, while honoring their Swedish death metal roots, the new album also adds thrash metal elements to their heavy sound. Azarath - New Album In April

Polish black/death metal tyrants Azarath have signed a new record deal with Agonia Records. Their last release with the label was the 2009's offering Praise The Beast. The band is expected to release a new album, the successor to Blasphemers' Maledictions from six years ago, this April.

Wintersun - New Album Artwork Unveiled

Today is the day you can check out the cover artwork for Wintersun's upcoming new album, The Forest Seasons and it is... a forest! Last week, the Finns announced their crowdfunding campaign that will start on March 1st. With the collected amount, front man Jari Mäenpää says he plans to build his own studio that would finally allow him to record the long-awaited album, Time II.

Vastum - To Tour In Europe This March

San Francisco death metal horde Vastum has announced a string of tour dates surrounding their performance at The Netherlands Death Fest. The band will raid Europe on the Eight Days Of Death. The announcement is joined by news of label home 20 Buck Spin's plans to reissue the band's primal debut album, Carnal Law, which has been out-of-print on vinyl since its 2011 release.

Vampire - Announce New Album

The Swedes Vampire have unveiled the cover for their upcoming second full length album, With Primeval Force, a piece of handcrafted art by renowned artist Nick Keller. Nova Collective - Band Feat. Dan Briggs, Richard Henshall To Release Debut

A new prog collective has been introduced. It's called Nova Collective and on March 10th, the band featuring members of Between The Buried And Me, Haken, Trioscapes, Cynic will release their debut album, The Further Side, via Metal Blade Records. Nova Collective's music can be described as "fusion, weaving progressive rock influences with world music, jazz and classical, to create something entirely new that is pure aural candy for prog/jazz fans." Amon Amarth - Announces US Tour With Goatwhore

After touring the world this past year in support of their new album, Jomsviking, Amon Amarth will head back out on the road this spring for a USA tour with Goatwhore, shortly after their scheduled European tour. Starting April 30th, the trek also features select appearances by Amon Amarth at some of the nation's music festivals: "Welcome to Rockville", "Carolina Rebellion", "Dark Lord Day", "Northern Invasion", and "Rock on the Range".

Arch Enemy - Share Video From Upcoming DVD

Arch Enemy have now launched a live video for "War Eternal", filmed at Wacken 2016 and taken from their upcoming live DVD/Blu-ray, As The Stages Burn! which will be released on March 31st, 2017. This is the first clip the band unveils from the release. The full Wacken 2016 show was recorded with 13 cameras, produced and directed by Patric Ullaeus. The audio was mixed by Andy Sneap.
