Sonata Arctica - Working On New Album, Announce Tour

Sonata Arctica are focusing on their new album already. The Finns released their latest album two years ago, Pariah's Child, and also revisited Ecliptica for its 15th anniversary edition. Now, it's time to focus on something new. Apart from working on their new album, they announced the first part of their European Tour for 2016. As with Pariah's Child, the as yet untitled upcoming ninth studio album will be recorded at Studio 57.

Incantation - Re-Sign To Relapse Records, Announce New Album

Incantation have good news to share with their fans. The legendary death metal band originally signed to Relapse Records in the early 1990s and released influential extreme metal albums, including Onward To Golgotha (1992), Mortal Throne Of Nazarene (1994), Diabolical Conquest (1998), and The Infernal Storm (2000), and have come full circle to reunite with Relapse for its forthcoming 10th studio album. The band is currently recording their upcoming full-length at their own Incantation Studios in Johnstown, PA.

The Black Dahlia Murder - To Play Entire 'Unhallowed' Album, Guitarist Quits

The Black Dahlia Murder have a few news to share today, good and bad news. After releasing their new album, Abysmal, the band has announced another headlining trek - this time, taking the show back to their roots! With Fallujah and Disentomb as support, the band plans to play their first full-length, Unhallowed (2003), in its entirety during the run, performing at intimate venues across the USA that haven't seen The Black Dahlia Murder since their debut was released. Brandon Ellis will join them on the road as the band's touring guitarist and replacement for Ryan Knight, who amicably parted ways with the group.

Sunn O))) - Announce Spring 2016 North America Shows

Drone doom metal masters Sunn O))) will be presenting their latest album Kannon live in North America this spring. First, the band will perform at Big Ears Fest in Knoxville on April 2nd, appearing as one of the main acts. The festival will be immediately followed by shows in Nashville, Athens, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Tampa through April 8th. Later that month, Sunn O))) will travel to Austin to take part in Levitation 2016 and will assemble again in May, with a set at Moogfest in Durham, North Carolina.
