Terror 2000 - New Album On The Way

Nick have announce the new album on the Terror 2000 website, here is what he said:

"We are gonna release a third full album in 2004, the recording session ais gonna be sometime in April/May probably, if everything goes alright. Also a new Japan tour is going to be prepared along with the release hopefully! Be sure to check out my band EL MAGO, new website is under construction. Evergrey - To Release Live CD/DVD

InsideOut Music will release EVERGREY's new live CD, A Night To Remember, on March 15th.

The band's forthcoming double DVD, which features their 19 song live performance in their hometown of Gothenburg, Sweden, was filmed with 15 hi-def cameras by video producer Patrick Ullaeus (Lacuna Coil, In Flames, Dimmu Borgir, etc.) and will include all six of the group's videos to date. Also, a whole DVD of backstage material, in-depth interviews with each of the members, gear-talk, live material from the beginning of their career, festivals, old demo songs and tons of pictures!

Look for the DVD to hit stores in April.

Russel Allen - Finished Mixes

Russel Allen's solo album debut to be tentatively titled "Russell Allen's Atomic Soul" counts with the participation of Michael Romeo and has just been mixed. The album will come out in April.

In Symphony X news Michael Romeo is also working on their new album.

James Labrie - New Solo Album

Dream Theater vocalist James LaBrie's solo CD is slated for release on March 15th. Musicians inlcude Matt Guillory (Dali's Dilemma) on keyboards, Mike Mangini (Extreme) on drums, Bryan Beller (Steve Vai) on bass, and a new guitar prodigy from Italy named Marco Sfogli. The CD will also feature a special guest appearance by fellow Canadian Kim Mitchell (Max Webster). Engineering chores are being handled by James' old Winter Rose bandmate, Richard Chycki who has done work for the likes of Aerosmith, Rush, and the Jeff Healey Band. Look for James to perform live with his band to support the release. Stay tuned for more details.

Necrodeath - Compilation & Full Length

Italian Black-Thrash Metal kings will deliver a Best of Album titled '20 Years Of Noise (1985 - 2005) celebrating 20 years of carrer! The CD, released also in a digipack limited version, will feature as bonus material a BLACK SABBATH cover and the legendary demo 'The Shining Pentagram', a real cult-tape in the 80's underground, a must for maniac tape traders around the world! U.D.O. - New Drummer

Lorenzo Milani oficially parted ways with U.D.O. due to personal reasons, to replace him the band brings Francesco Jovino for the recording of the new album, that have already started, the album will have 13 songs and is expecto to be release in October 2005 and then a tour in January 2006.

Adema - new singer announced

ADEMA have announced the addition of REWIND YESTERDAY singer Luke Caraciolli to the group's ranks. The band are currently hard at work on their Earache Records debut, "Planets", tentatively due in early April. A single, entitled "Tornado", will precede the album during the coming weeks. 16 tracks will be included on the follow-up to 2003's "Unstable", which will reportedly come with a bonus DVD. A photo of the group's new lineup can be viewed at www.Earache.com.

Original ADEMA vocalist Mark Chavez ? half-brother of KORN frontman Jonathan Davis ? left the group in September 2004. No explanation was given for his departure.

The Duskfall - Part Ways With Bassist

Luleå, Sweden-based metallers THE DUSKFALL have parted ways with bassist Kaj Molin. " decided to leave the band due to musical differences with the rest of the band," the group write on their web site.

"We all thank Kaj for his years of devotion for the band and we will miss him. No replacement is yet confirmed but well keep you posted on what the future will bring.

As previously reported, THE DUSKFALL are expected to enter Dug-Out studio in Uppsala, Sweden with producer Daniel Bergstrand (IN FLAMES, MESHUGGAH, STUCK MOJO) in April 2005 to begin recording their third album, tentatively due late next year via Nuclear Blast Records.

THE DUSKFALL, who recently announced the addition of session guitarist Antti Lindholm (from Finland's LAMBS) to the group's ranks, released their sophomore CD, "Source", in December 2003 through Greece's Black Lotus Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Frailty" was recorded at Dug-Out and was described by the band as "darker, faster, more melodical and catchy as hell!"

Amorphis - New Singer Announced

The singer Tomi Joutsen, from Nevergreen, is the new singer of Amorphis, according to a message posted on the band's website (http://www.nevergreen.org/).

"New Amorphis singer is Tomi Joutsen. The band brought him into stage this evening (8.1.05). Amorphis did a benefit show and gave the income over to The United Nations Children´s Fund to help kids who suffered Tsunami. This page is going to be updated next week with new photos and news regarding new album etc... The band says that new songs are stronger than ever".
