Shadowside are working on their next album and once again, the band will record it in Gothenburg, Sweden, with producer Fredrik Nordström, who worked with the power metallers on their latest album, Inner Monster Out released back in 2011. More details and the recording date will be announced soon! In other news, the band has parted ways with their bassist Fabio Carito. The new bass player is already working with the band and will be announced as well.

After five years, melodic death metallers Solution .45 are finally releasing a new album and have now revealed its first details. Nightmares In The Waking State - Part I shall be released worldwide on November 20th, through AFM Records. It will be released on CD and gatefold blue 2-vinyl (strictly limited to 500 units), as well as through most digital platforms. And now for something a little bit different. Sabaton is playing the Trondheim Metal Fest, which takes place between October 1st and 3rd. While the rest of the band will be getting to the show by other means of transportation from their hometown of Falun in Sweden, frontman Joakim Brodén will be walking. The frontman lost a drunken bet with the rest of the band and has to walk to Trondheim in Norway (552 km)! While some would back down, he is actually doing it.

King Diamond will soon embark on the "Abigail in concert 2015" tour where the legendary album will be performed in its entirety. So, they couldn't pass on the opportunity to film this event for posterity. The heavy metallers will be recording a feature length live concert video for Blu-ray/DVD/digital release while on tour this fall. Director Denise Korycki (Cannibal Corpse, Killswitch Engage) has been enlisted to direct the project, which will include footage from multiple shows throughout the entire tour.
