Shadowside - To Record New Album, Bassist Quits

Shadowside are working on their next album and once again, the band will record it in Gothenburg, Sweden, with producer Fredrik Nordström, who worked with the power metallers on their latest album, Inner Monster Out released back in 2011. More details and the recording date will be announced soon! In other news, the band has parted ways with their bassist Fabio Carito. The new bass player is already working with the band and will be announced as well.

Solution .45 - Reveal New Album Title, Cover

After five years, melodic death metallers Solution .45 are finally releasing a new album and have now revealed its first details. Nightmares In The Waking State - Part I shall be released worldwide on November 20th, through AFM Records. It will be released on CD and gatefold blue 2-vinyl (strictly limited to 500 units), as well as through most digital platforms. The band has been working on two new albums, so a second one should come out later. See the cover below and start getting excited.

Sabaton - Frontman Loses Drunken Bet, Must Walk To Next Show

And now for something a little bit different. Sabaton is playing the Trondheim Metal Fest, which takes place between October 1st and 3rd. While the rest of the band will be getting to the show by other means of transportation from their hometown of Falun in Sweden, frontman Joakim Brodén will be walking. The frontman lost a drunken bet with the rest of the band and has to walk to Trondheim in Norway (552 km)! While some would back down, he is actually doing it.

King Diamond - New DVD On The Way

King Diamond will soon embark on the "Abigail in concert 2015" tour where the legendary album will be performed in its entirety. So, they couldn't pass on the opportunity to film this event for posterity. The heavy metallers will be recording a feature length live concert video for Blu-ray/DVD/digital release while on tour this fall. Director Denise Korycki (Cannibal Corpse, Killswitch Engage) has been enlisted to direct the project, which will include footage from multiple shows throughout the entire tour.

Sanctuary - Release Music Video

As of now, you can watch Sanctuary's new official video for "Existence Fading," taken from their long-awaited comeback album The Year The Sun Died. Fueled by the fire sparked from the European dates, the Seattle metallers are gearing up for their return to North American stages. The tour kicks off October 9th in Indianapolis and will keep the band on the road through October, ending with an October 31st gig in their hometown Seattle. Scorpions - Unreleased Demo Streaming Online

Hard rock veterans Scorpions have posted online a previously unreleased demo version of a song called "Running For The Plane", written and recorded during the Blackout sessions in 1982. The demo of "Running For The Plane" is a rare piece from the band's heaviest era. The track appears on the upcoming November 6th release of the 50th anniversary Deluxe Editions, where Scorpions celebrate their achievements and open their vaults to unleash unreleased songs, alternative versions of big hits, rough mixes and rare live concert footage.

Death Angel - To Enter Studio, New Album In 2016

Death Angel will enter the studio on October 9th to begin tracking a new album to follow The Dream Calls For Blood. The Bay Area thrash metal band shows no sign of slowing down and will work once again with Jason Suecof and Rob producing at AudioHammer Studios in Sanford, Florida.
