Rudra - Cancel Indian Tour

Singaporean thrash/death metallers Rudra will not be playing in the highly awaited Brahmavidya Indian Tour 2011. The band released the following statement: "It is with great regret that we inform Rudra's fans in India that the proposed Brahmavidya Indian tour 2011 will be canceled. Both Rudra and management have tried very hard to make this tour work, even bending backwards at times. Unfortunately it was not meant to be. On behalf of the band and the management, we deeply apologize to our fans. Nevertheless, we are still keen to play India and will definitely make it a priority to play there soon."

Pandemia - Introduce New Guitarist, Announce European Tour

Czech death metallers Pandemia have parted ways with their guitarist Vlasta Slí?. The band issued the following statement on their MySpace: "Since September we have added a new member, Vitaly to our ranks! We want to thank outgoing guitarist Vlasta for everything, especially for the last 5 years with the band and wish him the best!"

The band will also be hitting the road with Debauchery, Vermin and Bloodstained Ground in the course of an European Tour come this November.

Shadows Fall - Ink Deal With New Label, Working On New Album

Indie label Razor & Tie is proud to announce the acquisition of Massachusetts-based heavy metal band Shadows Fall to their ranks.

The band is already in the brainstorming stages for their seventh studio album due out in the Spring of 2012 and have recruited Killswitch Engage/Times Of Grace guitarist, Adam Dutkiewicz, to produce it. Even though Adam D. is a long-time friend of the band, he's no stranger to album production having worked with As I Lay Dying, All That Remains and The Devil Wears Prada on past releases.
