Megadeth - Withdraw From Motörboat Due To Medical Issue

American metallers Megadeth were among the bands confirmed for Motörhead's first annual cruise MotörBoat. Unfortunately, due to Dave Mustaine's health issues, the band had to withdraw from the line-up. Heavy metal all-star band Metal Allegiance - including Megadeth's David Ellefson and Chris Broderick - has been added to the Motörboat music lineup.

Bullet - 'Riding High' Video Released

Deep Purple - 'Graz 1975' Live CD Trailer Available

On April 3rd, 1975 the Mk III line-up of Deep Purple ? guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, frontman David Coverdale, bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes, keyboard player Jon Lord and drummer Ian Paice ? performed at the Liebenauer ice rink, located on the outskirts of mountain-cradled Graz, Austria's second largest city after Vienna. Previously unreleased in its entirety, Graz 1975 will now be released in North America on September 23rd on earMUSIC. A trailer for Graz 1975 can be seen below.

Randy Castillo - Remembered In Documentary, Trailer Online

The Life, Blood And Rhythm Of Randy Castillo is a documentary produced by Cinema 1 Film & FX and 18 Lights Pictures, which has been selected to open the Red Nation Film Festival in Beverly Hills, California on November 4th. It is the story of the late, legendary drummer Randy Castillo who played with Ozzy Osbourne, Mötley Crüe, Lita Ford and other rock and roll groups of the 1980s and 1990s. The film is narrated by Lita Ford and you can watch the trailer right now.

Deep Purple - New DVD On The Way, Clip Online

Eagle Rock Entertainment has set an October 20th release date for Deep Purple's Live In Verona forthcoming DVD and Blu-ray. Filmed in the spectacular surroundings of the Arena di Verona, a Roman amphitheater originally built in 30 AD, this concert from the summer of 2011 sees Deep Purple joined on stage by the German Neue Philarmonic Orchestra for performances of all the band's classic tracks. American hard rockers Mr. Big recently announced that drummer Pat Torpey has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. The diagnosis has left him unable to perform his normal drumming duties on the band's upcoming world tour. Filling in for him will be Matt Starr, who is the current drummer for Ace Frehley.
