AC/DC - Former Bassist Neil Smith Passes

Former AC/DC and Rose Tattoo bassist Neil Smith has died after a battle with cancer. Smith was in AC/DC briefly in 1974, prior to the release of their 1975 debut album High Voltage and in Rose Tattoo in 1978.

Citron - Vocalist Standa Hranický Dies

Heavy metallers Citron are mourning the loss of their vocalist Stanislav "Standa" Hranický. The group announced today that he passed away on Sunday after a long-term illness at age 62. Stanislav "Standa" Hranický was in the band for almost 30 years and the last album he lent his voice to was Bigbítový Pánbù released in 2010.

Satyricon - Update From The Band, Recording New Album

Baroness - Lose Two Members

After a difficult moment in the band's career last year in England when they were involved in a coach crash, Baroness has lost two of its band members due to physical and psychological repercussions from the accident: drummer Allen Blickle and bassist Matt Maggioni, leaving the band with only two members. However, Baroness confirm that they have found two new musicians that will tour with the band.

Dark Funeral - Former Guitarist David Parland Dies

Swedish guitarist David Parland has passed away at the age of 42 but the cause of death has yet to be revealed. He was a founding member of the Swedish death metal band Necrophobic and Parland later went on to start Dark Funeral with Lord Ahriman. After that, he joined Infernal.
