Avantasia - Saxon Vocalist Peter Byford To Guest On New Album
Legendary Saxon vocalist Peter "Biff" Byford will guest on Avantasia's forthcoming album The Mystery Of Time. He joins Uriah Heep's drummer Russell Gilbrook, producer and guitarist Sascha Paeth and former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick in the ensemble.
Statement from Tobias Sammet: "In March 2013 the new Avantasia Rock Opera The Mystery Of Time will hit stores. Musicians who have been confirmed so far are Uriah Heep drummer Russell Gilbrook, producer and guitarist Sascha Paeth, former Kiss & Meat Loaf guitarist Bruce Kulick, and of course Tobias on bass and vocals. Now we can announce the name of the next guest star: New Wave Of British Heavy Metal legend Biff Byford will sing one role on this forth-coming epic."
