Folk metallers Svartsot have been around since 2005 but only now do they release their first official video. The song featured in the video is "Midsommer" which you might know from their newest album, Vældet. In keeping with the lyrics for the track, the video portrays the older Danish Midsummer Eve tradition of building a fire to ward off evil spirits on the shortest night of the year. Enjoy!

Filming took place at Jels Vikingeby in Jutland, Denmark on the weekend of 27th and 28th of June (just after the actual date of Midsummer Eve, the 23rd of June), and was filmed and edited by the young Danish video producer, Christian Søes.
