According to one of the recent Facebook posts, Jose Manuel Ordoñez is the new Helevorn drummer. He is the third new addition in the ranks in less than one year after the departure of founding guitarist Samuel Morales and keyboardist Enrique Sierra last summer. Jose Manuel will replace Xavi Gil, who has decided to leave the band due personal issues. Helevorn are currently working on new material.

Statement from the group: "After some months thinking about it, our long-time friend and drummer Xavi Gil (first picture) has decided to leave the band for personal issues. It's been a very difficult decision for him. We respect it and we support him completely, but we are sad. We want to thank you so much for everything you have done for the band, buddy. We will miss you a lot and we wish you all the best, brother.

"The good news is that we already have the replacement. Jose Manuel Ordoñez (Devouring), a very talented musician with a lot of experience is our new drummer. Welcome!"
