Well, CNN has had an interesting 180 degrees turn since the early '90s when it was live broadcasting the Gulf War while justifying all the "collateral damage" that took place over there. Brainwashing is brainwashing, regardless what the target audience is.

Yes every mainstream media has an agenda to some degree, and you have lots of them so if you don't only watch one it's easy to spot what agenda there aiming at. Problem is people find youtube channels and such that lead them to other youtube channels that only have one point of view which gets hammerd into them, not wanting even consider what mainstream news is reporting to them because they are stuck in a tunnel vision.

So how do you get your info and opinions on the "truth", I don't really hear what your saying in mainstream media, not over here anyway.

Local news (usually read the headlines that scroll on the bottom), news radio (not to be confused with talk radio) , and if they have footage of what was mentioned, I look up that footage and not the edited footage you see on news channels to fit their agenda, and I find what the truth is. I usually do end up quickly checking out the mainstream media news on those same topics to see what they say, but I get so pissed at how disingenuous and dishonest they are that I have to change the channel.

There is footage, for example, of Kamala Harris, Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi and media personalities actually inciting and/or encouraging riots last year. They tried denying it, but channels like CNN purposely won't cover those stories because they are guilty as well.

I actually experienced and saw these riots in Chicago with my own eyes. I live in the heart of that city. I saw police officers and regular citizens get beaten to a pulp. I see businesses around me closing down left and right because of these riots and the draconian lockdowns. People are leaving this city by the boatloads because of Pritzker's and Lightfoot's horrible "leadership." It is politicians like these corrupt fuckheads that Schaffer was talking about. These are truths. If people like Stu, Luke and Hansi actually opened their eyes, I'm sure they would rethink leaving their friend Jon behind.

The fact that some people here still feel the need to debate around the details of what happened on J6 and what to call it is funny. The guy joined a white supremacist mob that was getting ready to sequester and harm elected officials, but I didn't expect such debate and vitriol around musicians leaving a band whose leader is going to be having some extensive legal problems that would kill any band, no matter what their nature is. The band is dead, and whining about """cancel culture""" only shows where your priorities lie. But hey what can you expect from people who still think calling someone a "pussy" proves anything other than how pointless to a healthy society they are.

Now this has turned into a debate about network media? Can anyone call a moderator to this thread? I don't really know who moderates the forum these days.

Yeah exactly. Pretty sure Schaffer would have nothing to do with them if they really were a "white supremacist mob." Unfortunate that so many people are making this about skin color.

Nikarg- it gets pretty tough talking about the whole Iced Earth situation without talking about Schaffer's politics or just politics in general. They go hand-in-hand. That said...no more politics on my end. My apologies.
