Rudra - Split With Guitarist, Introduce Replacement
Singapore long-standing metal unity Rudra confirm a departure of the guitarist Simon (work-related commitments). At the same time they welcome back Devan, who was already part of the band from 2007 to 2011.
Statement from the band as follows: "We have parted ways with Simon due to his work commitments that had led him to foreign lands. We thank Simon for his immense contribution to Rudra, testified by his contributions to three albums since 2013.
"As with all change comes renewal. However, we consider this a reunion of sorts as Devan who was part of the band from 2007 - 2011 has rejoined us. Devan had played a huge role in the Brahmavidya Trilogy, especially contributing to the Transcendental I and Immortal I instalments. With Devan's inclusion we certainly anticipate a vibrant and exciting musical journey. Let's welcome Devan to the ranks."
