While the work on their new studio album will be soon completed, symphonic metal outfit Delain proudly introduce Ludovico Cioffi as their new full-time bass player.

Ludo states: "I can’t describe how honored I feel to be part of this! I’ve known Delain for many years and I have huge respect and esteem for Martijn and his career. I'm starting a new path with incredibly talented musicians and great friends, so I’m impatiently looking forward to anything future has in hold for us!"

Delain comments: "We are thrilled to finally introduce Ludovico Cioffi as our new permanent bass player! As many of you know, Rob van der Loo has returned to Delain as a guest bassist and is recording much of the bass for the new album. Ludo will also contribute bass and backing vocals/growls to the new album as well as be the new charismatic presence to hit the stage with us.
