Manowar - Confirm Drummer For Upcoming Tour
Manowar confirmed that their drummer Anders Johannson will be unable to join the band on the upcoming 'Crushing The Enemies Of Metal Anniversary Tour' due to personal reasons. Performing with the band on this trek will be Dave Chedrick, who has previously played with Raven and Kill Ritual, among others.
Anders issued the following statement: "Hello friends. Family commitments make it necessary that I remain as close as possible to my home in Sweden at this time. I will therefore not be able to perform on Manowar's upcoming tour.
"The support from Manowar, their crew and fans has been overwhelming from the beginning. Everyone involved has welcomed me into their hearts without hesitation, and I have made friends for life. Thank you all for the great times."

Does this mean that Anders still is in the band, or? He's a great drummer, and I got really happy for him when it was announced that he had joined Manowar. I'm sure Dave will do a great job as well though.

Yep. However, it clearly says that he's gonna miss out on the upcoming tour, and not that he actually left the band. Oh, welll... We'll see what happens. I really hope that Anders will join Manowar again. It's a perfect match.
