Peter "P." Fluid, who sang in 24-7 Spyz from 1986 to 1991 and again from 1994 to 1995, has been killed at the age of 64. NY Daily News reports that he was found beaten to death last Monday inside an ambulette he was driving in.

It is reported that P. Fluid was last heard from by coworkers at Marquis Ambulette mid-Monday morning. After being unable to reach him for an unusual duration of time, a colleague used GPS to track his ambulette to the Castle Hill neighborhood at around 10:30 AM, and upon arrival, the driver's side window had broke and Forrest was found lying face down in the rear of the van in a pool of blood, according to police sources. Authorities believe that Fluid was beaten to death and an investigation is ongoing.

Fluid co-founded 24-7 Spyz in 1986, and sang vocals to their first two albums, Harder Than You (1989) and Gumbo Millennium (1990), before leaving the band for the first time around 1991 following a tour with Jane's Addiction. He rejoined 24-7 Spyz in 1994, but had quit again not long after the release of their fourth album Temporarily Disconnected.
