Great New Thrash record. Though tracks 08 and 09 are kind of fillers, the rest is badass.

A fun album, but not full of original ideas, which is what I am looking for in modern thrash, but the current rating speaks for itself. Chances are high one will enjoy this record.

to the average rating.
Edit (4 days later): Actually, I agree with Troy (see below). Loved at first, rushed to the 9, but have already got pretty bored of it.
Edit: Actually... It's like steroids. I listen to it, get really pumped, want to hit stuff, stomp on legos, and maybe commit date rape. Then it wears off and I get really moody. It's really only okay in short bursts. Gotta pace myself with it is all.

I think it's kind of fun at first, but that feeling wore off before I even got to the halfway point. I'd put this up/down there with Artillery's latest. Not that they sound that similar (I think Havok are more revivalist and Artillery threw in some power metal elements), but both have a sort of initial attraction that wears off quickly.

As a whole I don't think the album wears off at all. Perhaps a few of the tracks can get a bit tedious after repeated listens, but excellent tracks like 'Killing Tendencies' and 'Scumbag in Disguise' I could listen many times over without growing bored.
I agree that the album is a bit weaker on the 2nd half though.

They aren't a featured band due to an incomplete profile.

A cracking album. Engineering is good, there's enough difference between tracks and overall has a thrash-stomping pace.
I have and will continue to reccomend it left right and centre - the only negative thing i can say is that it's not one of those albums that will remain in my mind further than the next few months, it's great - but it's not one of THE greats.

Wow, when an album comes from a not visible band (so it cannot get into the MS Top 20 system) we never see ratings of "1" or "2" and it is cool...

exactly! I don't even know what is better know. Letting the band be invisible to preserve the rating from those who actually listened to the album and rated or expose it to the masses, which will do two things: bring 1s and 2s but also will let more people to check the album out.

well probably it is impossible to give it to the masses and to not get the "1" or "2" ratings. i dont know. personally i like searching on the "new releases" page so i dont miss the new albums with good ratings. i dont know. i find it AWFULL that many people "destroy" the albums ratings just to see their fav album on top and the funny is that we are still in may so with every new release of a great band we'll see many "1" ratings in the previously released albums.... it is very sad... the newest albums dont have the CHANCE to get the scores the oldest-classic albums have...

This is some pretty high quiality thrash tbh... and I don't even like thrash that much but its vicious energy is amazing! I disagree with you, this shit does not get old fast... Well as long as you don't overplay it anyway, a few times a month is cool for me who isn't a big thrash dude anyway. So far this is my thrash pick of the year.

I find its replay value diminished as it's just a typical rehashing of what thrash already conquered more than 20 years ago. I'm not saying I expect all new thrash bands to blow the likes of Sodom, Slayer, Overkill, Artillery, Kreator, Testament, Coroner, Destruction, etc. out of the water, but something a little more innovative and possibly more enticing wouldn't hurt.
I'll say this: Havok know how to play fast, and their high-octane assault is nice enough to listen to at first, but after a few listens it's easy to feel a little desensitized, especially when you've heard it all done before, and better.

I'm not interested in Overkill, artillery, kreator, testament or destruction... Like I said, mi interest in thrash is close to zero, this is oddly enough better than those bands to me.
