Whoa, this is pretty damn good so far... hugely impressive sound. Maybe a bit Deathspell Omega-ish perhaps but there's some nice twists in their approach, I'm getting a definite Blut aus Nord vibe at times too. Great, massive sound.

Agreed. Haven't come across anything better yet.

As much as I love this I suspect it's just keeping the seat warm for either Meads or BaN. We shall see.

The upcoming Esoterica album might be a contender also but this will surely end up high on any list I'll be making

I highly doubt either will surpass this for me. BaN's two from last year were definitely good but assuming the finale is anything like the first two, I won't even regard it as a top 10 release.

Nah, I tried a few times, but I just couldn't get into it. Bits and pieces stuck with me, but nothing else. I'm rarely into this kind of black metal, so it should come as no surprise.
